Testing our work on different platforms is indeed a valuable contribution.
Please report your results back to us developers. But do not forget to tell us which version of the library, on which platform and especially which PHP version (please include a PHPinfo page) you used.
If you are using the latest current development version please note the date of your latest download or cvs update when reporting.
If you mind submitting your own piece of code, you are recommended to read and apply the following coding style guide.
Alas, both version, while remaining accurate on numerous points, are deprecated for now. It should be fixed soon (hopefully)
We do not use PHP specific tools for writing code, so your favourite text editor should do just fine. However, Scite was found to be well suited for the job (check the extra files).

Please use the SourceForge project patch manager, available from the trackers' page, to submit your patches. Unified context diffs relative to the latest development version are preferred.
